NOW SILENCE

Now Silence

Words of love I thought I knew

but

occupying my mind

are embedded visions

with thoughts of you

Brief encounters

words of love and devotion never spoken

no promises to keep

feelings were always buried deep

These words of love I thought I knew

days scurry by, years past

hurried lifestyle

so much to do, no time to waste

and then along came you

now,  whatever I do,

can’t erase images of you

Precious loving times alone with you

the depth of your eyes looking within

two souls, total abandonment with nothing to hide

such a profound experience for you and I

Mental visions replayed and renewed

a silent picture plays on of you

Words of love I now perceive

for you touched a part of me,

a place no other dared to be
